Public Relations Professionals Honored at FPRA Image Awards

Area public relations programs and practitioners were honored at the 2014 Northwest Florida Image Awards April 16 at the SpringHill Suites at Pensacola Beach. Sponsored by the Pensacola and Northwest Florida Coast Chapters of the Florida Public Relations Association, the regional Northwest Florida Image Awards competition serves to recognize the best in public relations.

The Pensacola Chapter presented the Communicator of the Year Award to two outstanding public relations professionals, one representing a for-profit organization and one representing a non-profit organization, selected by an awards committee comprised of local media professionals. Communicator of the Year honorees were Caron Sjoberg, APR, CPRC (president of Ideaworks) and Annina Dahlstrom (marketing and technology coordinator at the University of West Florida).
